Hi everyone. I’ve decided to give the Singles Leagues one more go before giving it a decent burial. In the Autumn there were too few games played to make the leagues meaningful so I’m going to ask any one who wants to restart to contact me and I’ll see if we have enough interest. I know some were regulars and never missed a match but can I ask you to contact me again also.

To recap.

There are roughly five players in each (mixed) league who play each other once over best of three sets (or a championship tie break if pre agreed). At the end of each round two players go up and two down and the whole thing starts again.

It’s played in a good spirit although the odd yelp of frustration (mainly from me) can occasionally be heard!

It’s open to players of all standards and last time out we have four leagues. Don’t worry about winning or losing. Improving your singles game is the real aim.

The winners of each league will get a drinks voucher from the Fishbourne club as extra incentive.
