Mandy Davies

All her many tennis friends will join the rest of Fishbourne Tennis Club in being saddened to hear of the passing of Mandy Davies. A former committee member and team captain, Mandy was a resolute supporter of the club and a tournament player with a distinguished record.  Mandy died peacefully in St Wilfrid’s surrounded by her family on 4 March. On behalf of everyone at the club, we extend our condolences  to Martin and the Davies family.

Below is a message from the Davies Family with details of her funeral. We are asked to let the family know who will be coming.
Please, therefore, reply to [email protected] email if you are able to attend.
Dear all,
Please join us to honour our amazing wife, mother, and friend. Mandy will be cremated at Chichester Crematorium (PO19 7UH) at 10:15am on Thursday 21st March 2024. Dress code is smart casual. No need for black.

After the service we invite you to come along to the Minerva Theatre Bar in Chichester for a reviving cup of tea or coffee overlooking Oaklands park, a place Mandy spent numerous Sundays watching rugby. It is probably best to park at the north end of the Northgate car park and walk through towards Chichester Festival Theatre.

We have been overwhelmed by the support, kind words and wishes we have received as a family already and your time and presence at the service is more than enough. We do not want flowers, but, if you would like to do anything more to honour this brilliant woman, then we would ask you to donate to one of the two charities that have helped Mandy so much in her treatment over the last 4 years.
