Every year Fishbourne Tennis Club sends a number of members to an annual tennis week at the Manor House Hotel in Okehampton, Devon. This year we are hoping to send a larger contingent to increase the amount of court time that we are able to have. Now that its March, its time to start planning holidays for the year. I have reserved a selection of accommodation at the Manor House Hotel again this year for 27 Septembver to 2 October, and some of you have already reserved your rooms. I have to confirm the booking and send the deposit by mid-March LATEST so please now let me know if you would like to join us this year.
Last year we had the largest party we have had so far at the Manor House Hotel, with tennis players, badminton players, golfers and art-and-crafters, plus quite a few folks using the excellent bowls facilities and enjoying guided walks on the moor. The golf courses are superb and range from comfortable to wickedly steep! Golf carts advised. The new spa is a real treat and the food continues to be as plentiful as ever. Altogether this hotel and its huge selection of activities continues to be amazing value for money, with rates held this year yet again. The basic price for the 5 night stay is £334 but we do attract a discount depending on numbers. We will get at least 10% discount.
The room rates are:
Single £334 plus 10% supplement
Double-for-single occupancy £334 plus 25% supplement
Twin £334
Double £334
Family Suite £334 plus 10% supplement
Specific room supplement +5%
All rates are PER PERSON. Don’t forget that if you have to cancel for any reason, provided you give 8 weeks’ written notice, your deposit is refunded in full. Even with 4 weeks’ notice you get a refund of 50%.
If you would like to join us, please let me know as soon as you have made a decision. I will need a deposit of £80 PER PERSON by 2nd week of March LATEST. If you do internet banking, my account number is 84206671 sort code 09 01 27. Please put your name as the reference so I know who the money is from.
