Junior Open Day – Saturday May 13, 2-4 pm

For Boys and Girls aged 4-14 – your first step to become a Wimbledon Champion of the future! Fun, games and coaching with the Generation Tennis coaching team, led by JJ Bone. Racquets and balls provided – just turn up and play!

Generation Tennis has confirmed its summer schedule (as well as existing classes):

• Tuesday Evenings:
• Adult Beginners/improvers 6-7pm, Pay & Play, £5 per session.
• Adult intermediates 7-8pm, Pay & Play, £5 per session.
• Wednesday Evenings
• Cardio Tennis, 6-7pm Pay & Play, £5per session.

Tennis/Bowls Club ‘Roll Up Challenge’ Sunday June 4 2-5pm

Come and have a go – for tennis members and friends, beginners, or if you’ve played before.  The Bowls Club will provide advice, bowls, and the challenge! All ages of the adult variety, for a small fee towards refreshments, are welcome. Flat-soled shoes please. Put it in your diary, and SIGN UP in the tennis clubhouse as numbers will be limited to 16.

The Aegon Southsea Trophy

Do you know about this new ladies’ tournament being held up the road in Southsea that’s attracting some big-name players…and which is FREE to attend?

It’s the brand new ITF Pro-Circuit women’s event held at Canoe Lake Leisure. The tournament takes place on 27-30 June, a  week prior to the Wimbledon Championships,

The Canoe Lake grass tennis courts sit in the heart of Southsea and have recently been refurbished to accommodate the new ITF world class tournament.
