I knew that going to the Wimbledon finals was a once in a lifetime experience and I enjoyed every second of it. I had an amazing time watching the women’s singles final, the men’s doubles final and the women’s doubles final.
One of my highlights of the day was seeing Serena Williams. She was amazing and very inspirational but Garbine Muguruza put up a fight and it was a tense match.
Also, the exhibition match was amusing as I saw Bahrami and Leconte having a laugh on the court. The atmosphere all around Wimbledon was extraordinary, you couldn’t beat it. Strawberries and cream was a classic memory that Wimbledon is well known for.
People have told me that some big names hang around by the practise courts so I walked over there and only saw Roger Federer – he was in touching distance of me! The women’s doubles was a great, closely matched contest and we stayed there late because of the closure of the roof. Jamie Murray was a hope for Great Britain but unfortunately did not perform on the day, however that was also a wonderful match to watch.
All in all, I had the day of my lifetime, all thanks to Fishbourne Tennis Club being linked with the LTA and Wimbledon.
Thank you.
