The club’s annual meeting held at the Fishbourne Centre on Wednesday 26 April was well attended by a cross section of members. As well as the chairman’s and treasurer’s reports, there were updates on the provision of extra floodlights, how FTC is doing in the leagues, the coaching programme with Generation Tennis, the club’s busy round of social activities, American tournaments and club sessions, among many other topics.
The AGM was also the occasion when the club held its annual Wimbledon ticket draw for members to win the right to buy one of the 13 pairs of tickets to the SW19 Championships that were allocated to the club this year.
