For the first time at FTC Finals Day we had a Fastest Serve competition. Players queued to have a go and it quickly became mega-competitive as contenders fought to outdo each other and win the cash prizes. The quickest serve in the club? That belongs to JJ Bone who fired a ball over at a  very impressive 89mph. But he didn’t have it all his own way with Jan, Joe, Patrick and David all getting into the 80s. Debbie Jupe was fastest female server with 53mph. Both Debbie and JJ were presented with £20 by fastest serve organiser Gareth Price, with £10 runner-up awards for Jilly and Jan.
