Fishbourne’s annual community Bonfire Night with its famous fireworks display takes place on the playing fields on Friday 4 November and all Fishbourne Tennis Club members, their relative and friends, are invited.
This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever, with something for all ages including a 20-minute fireworks display from 8pm, a fun fair, food stalls and real ale stand. There will plenty of parking, clearly signposted.
Suggested entry donation is £5 per person or £15 for a family and all proceeds go to the Fishbourne Playing Fields Association charity – so it is very much in the tennis club’s interest that we support it. FTC volunteers will be manning the entry point in Blackboy Lane so come along and say hello, and have your cash (or card) ready! Come early, bring the kids, and enjoy all the fun of the fair and the lighting of the bonfire before the spectacular pyrotechnics display. Even the weather looks like it will be good!
The fun starts at 5.30pm with the bonfire lit at 7pm and the fireworks from 8pm, and food and drink will be available until 8.30pm.
