Tim Friesner came out on top in knocking down the skittles at FTC’s fun bowling afternoon at MFA Bowl in Chichester on Saturday 24 September. In one game alone he scored four strikes and posted a very respectable score of 153.
Overall the boys’ team beat the girls’ team, but only by the slightest of margins. Chasing Tim all the way for highest score of the afternoon was Kate Gurl who, it turns out, played league matches for 20 years and has a career average score of 160 points!
All who took part enjoyed it immensely. Drinks followed at the George & Dragon and then a Chinese feast at China Royal in Market Road, which was a big hit with everyone and comes much recommended.
It was another very successful social event for FTC.
