DATES FOR YOUR DIARY 

18 April, Wednesday 7.30 for 8pm: Fishbourne Tennis Club Annual General Meeting and Wimbledon ticket ballot, Fishbourne Centre Blue Room with free refreshments 

6 May, Sunday, 10am: American Tournament; sign up in clubhouse

21 May, Monday 6pm: FTC committee meeting, observers welcome

30 June,  Saturday, all day: Fishbourne Sports Open Day

1 September, FTC Championships Finals Day (or Sunday if wet)

MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL TIME

It’s that time again…a time when the incredibly bargain-priced cost of membership to FTC is due to be paid. For adults, that’s just £105, or slightly over £2 a week. All subs should be paid by 10 April. You can pay online direct into FTC’s bank using the sort code 09-01-53 and account number 33095480 (with your surname and initial as reference please). Cheques should be made payable to  Fishbourne Tennis Club. Membership renewal forms have already been emailed to you, are on the club website, and also available in the clubhouse.

ENTRY TO CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS NOW OPEN

You have until Sunday 15 April to get your entries in for this year’s club Championships. There are competitions for 14+ juniors, adults and +65 vets, so there’s sure to be something to suit everyone. Think of all those lovely new cups just waiting to be won! And entry costs just £3 per person, for as many different competitions as you like. Entry forms have been emailed to all members, are in the clubhouse and also available to download on the website, where you will also find all the rules.

OUR WIMBLEDON TICKET ALLOCATION CONFIRMED 

This year the club has 16 pairs of tickets to the Wimbledon Championships for our club ballot which takes place after the AGM at the Fishbourne Centre on Wednesday 18 April. We would love to see you there. Who knows, you might win!  There are  97 FTC members eligible to win the right to buy the tickets this year; their names, plus ticket prices and order of play, are on the noticeboard in the clubhouse as well as on the website.
